cue in calm in a couple of minutes!

Find a place where the air quality is good. Get into a comfortable position - standing, sitting or lying down.

Become aware of your breathing - inhale and exhale regularly.
Without too much effort, calmly ‘feel’ the ‘in breath’ and feel the ‘out breath’.

Now count slowly up to 10 or down from 10 to 1.

Touch your 'calm cue object'. This can be any object which is generally about your person and that you have nominated as your ‘calm cue object’. A ring, watch, pendant or pocket sized crystal would all be suitable.

As you hold your cue object, resolve to be peaceful even in the midst of conflict.

Now in your mind’s eye check out what is really going on which is apparently causing you dis-ease or distress.

Still breathing calmly and regularly, resolve to put things in perspective and to spend some time working on appropriate changes in your life.

After doing this exercise, you will associate your cue object with calmness. Touch your calm cue object at any time when you feel under pressure, angry or upset.
