Way
2 - recognise opportunities
Recognise opportunities, even if they initially appear to be problems.
Understand how you allow yourself to have problems to be
stressed or to be fatigued or depressed. Strangely, it is often
more comfortable for us to stick with unhealthy outmoded habits
and attitudes than to change our ways!
Next time something happens that seems to be a problem, take a
few deep breaths and then respond, or not, as the case may be
- the response could be over a long period of time.
Always make a constructive analysis of any situation that has
challenged you by asking What can I learn from this event?
For example, is this an opportunity to practice patience or calmness
or generosity or love?
Harness your mental energy to become a mindful observer
of the events in your life. See how you can make best use of your
inherent natural goodness, whatever the occasion. Check out ways
in which you are doing this on a regular basis. You will start
to notice that amazing opportunities present themselves as you
change your attitude and your approach.
