During your period of self-reflection it may help if you select 6 to 10 words or phrases – pleasant, unpleasant and neutral words – which you feel describe you now. When you’ve written them down, try to be objective about how these descriptive words relate to you. Which words describe the sort of person you want to be? Which words describe parts of yourself you’d like to change? Make some notes about the words that are most useful to you – if they’re negative, write down how you can begin to change, if they are positive, write down how you can sustain or increase this quality in your life.
